I sent email to GM of my store stating some concerns with management and their lack of managing. GM passed info down to managers. One manager told another driver about my confidential email sent to the GM and added that I told GM that this particular driver wasn’t doing their job either and that they were lazy. The driver came to me about this and I ended up just sharing the email with him so he knew for a fact I didn’t say anything about him. I’m not ok with it but the store manager has done nothing about it. What should I do?

It sounds like your email was right—you do work in a badly managed place. Generally speaking, there is no law that says a company has to keep confidential anything you say to management, and certainly it’s acceptable for managers to tell other managers. However, lying to an employee about what you said could be slander. Whether you could sue would depend on how much damage you suffered. You can speak with an attorney to determine your rights.
